The Omicron variants has been spreading so rapidly, and there seems to be no upper limit. I hope you are staying well. Today, I want to share the idea, “one cannot walk straight without help from others.”
On the other day, I saw a TV program about what a member of British Special Force would do to survive if he was left alone in a desert or a jungle. According to the presenter who is a member of the Force, one cannot walk straight without a target or a mark.
Just like we have a dominant arm, we also have a dominant leg. The step of the dominant leg is slightly wider than the other. In fact, also there is a slight difference in the length between left and right legs. Because of these facts, one will be making a large circle as he walks blindly, so he can never walk out of the jungle.
There are ways to walk straight. We can use a compass to check the direction. Another way is to fix a visual target as we walk.
In any ways, we can not walk straight without some assistance from outside of ourselves. And not only walking straight on a street, this would also apply to our walk in our life. Jesus says “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).”
