Why do we need to believe in God?
There are many people living happily without believing in God. Perhaps it may be true. Then, what is the need for believing in God? There are, at least three reasons. If we do not know God, then…
１. We will never know the purpose of our lives.
If anyone asks you “what is the purpose of your life?”, can you answer?
２. No matter how hard we try to pursuit our happiness, we would never be satisfied.
Many of us think “if we could have everything, we would be happy.” But, did you know that such people who got everything, still feel “empty”?
３. We will all die, eventually. We need to prepare for it.
The death may come suddenly. No one can avoid death. If we are not prepared, then we may get into panic.
The Bible has answers to all these questions. Throughout long history, the teaching of the Bible has given hopes and courage to many people. Also, I am one of them. I am not rich nor being an influencer. But, because of the Bible, I know the purpose of my life, truly happy, and prepare for anything may happen to me. The Bible says,
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, (Proverbs 1:7)”
The “LORD” means God who created and given the life to you. God loves you, wishes you to be happy, and has plans that are full of blessings. Autumn is the best season for readings. Why don’t you read the Bible which is the world’s most popular book?
